The Relyt Solar Donation Program
Homeowners replacing or removing an owned solar system may participate by making a charitable cash donation to Relyt. The recommended amount is generally calculated per panel and is intended to fund qualified removal labor and delivery.
Tax notice: Relyt provides documentation for cash donations. The deductibility of any contribution depends on the donor’s individual circumstances. Donors should consult a qualified tax professional.
How It Works
- Submit a panel donation request.
- Relyt confirms preliminary eligibility and participating contractor availability.
- The homeowner makes the agreed charitable cash donation directly to Relyt.
- Relyt authorizes and pays the participating contractor for approved removal and delivery.
- The contractor delivers the panels to an approved Relyt receiving facility.
- Relyt inspects, tracks, and prepares qualifying panels for future reuse.
Basic Eligibility
- The homeowner must own the panels and have authority to transfer them.
- Panel condition, age, quantity, access, and location must meet program criteria.
- Removal must be performed by an approved, properly licensed and insured contractor.
- Participation is subject to capacity, logistics, and written approval by Relyt.
